Braised Steak with Vegetables Recipe

UNITS USED:

Large Skillet
Food Cutter

  

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 round steak 
  • 3-4medium potatoes (#3 cone)
  • 1 onion (#2 cone)                         
  • 4-5 carrots (#3 cone)
  • 1 stalks celery (#4 cone)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut round steak into 1/2" to 1" strips.
  2. Preheat skillet on medium heat and brown.
  3. Add all ingredients and continue to cook on medium heat for 8- 10 minutes until the lid is hot to touch or valve whistles.
  4. Turn heat to simmer and cook 30-45 minutes or longer if desired.
